Alice Tan had a career in public relations and strategic marketing consultancy, working with global clients such as Tag Heuer, Kodak, Nokia, and Visa. She held public consulting roles at Singapore Technologies and Ogilvy & Mather PR before founding her own communications firm, Equator Communications Asia Pte Ltd.

Her international experience, living in Malaysia, the USA, Egypt, and the UAE, has given her deep cultural insights and a profound appreciation for diverse perspectives. Her global experiences have fostered a deep appreciation of cultural perspectives, sharpening her insight into human behaviour and communication. This unique perspective enhances her work as a psychotherapist and executive coach, where she navigates complex human dynamics with empathy and attunement.

Alice transitioned into psychotherapy out of a deep conviction that every individual can achieve healing and freedom through self-awareness and self-determination, enabling them to overcome unconscious limiting beliefs and the challenges of neurodiversity. By integrating the knowledge of psychotherapy in coaching, Alice empowers clients to identify barriers that hold them back, facilitating their growth and flourishing. Her experience has shown that personal healing can be hindered by unhealthy organisational environments. This drives her to help organisations create spaces where individuals and teams can thrive.

Alice’s approach celebrates the richness of humanity in all its mental and neurodiversity, helping organisations recognise neuro-differences as strengths. She believes that when companies cultivate inclusive environments, neurodiverse teams can thrive and drive innovation. With a keen interest in neuroscience and human behaviour, Alice enjoys witnessing her clients’ insights and breakthroughs. She is also passionate about facilitating vision casting for teams and resolving interpersonal conflicts.
